When I sit back and reflect on the first 12 months of my business running, the thing that I’m most proud of is that my vision is coming to life. The vision I had was to create a business steeped in kindness and helping people.
I created Compassionate Home Clearing after the experience my brother and I had in clearing out our family home of 51 years after my parents passed away. The goals we set were to stay out of landfill as much as possible and if we did not love an item let’s try and find a new home for that item where it will be loved.
Our last two jobs were a deceased estate clearout and a transition into care clearing. Through the generosity of the families we were able to help over 35 people directly with the rehoming of their possessions. We were able to make a difference to these individuals and help them during this tough time. Both of the families were blown away to know that their loved ones’ possessions have made such a difference.
Whether we are clearing a home or helping people to declutter we treat each item with care and respect and treat the clients we are helping with compassion as we help them to achieve their goals.
